Who am I?

My name is Rachel Lulich. I'm a writer and freelance developmental editor. I love reading, singing, and traveling, and I'm rather fond of languages. I have three owl decorations named after Christian writer/theologians. Yes, I'm a bit of a nerd.

The Fifth Sola

In 1517, Martin Luther kicked off a reformation of the Roman Catholic Church. The reformation was centered around a return to biblical Christianity, which became summarized by five guiding principles. The phrase Sola comes from the expression of these principles in Latin:

Sola Scriptura - Scripture alone
Sola Fida - Faith alone
Sola Gratia - Grace alone
Solus Christus - Christ alone
Soli Deo Gloria - Glory to God alone

Soli Deo Gloria is usually listed last (5th), and is the inspiration for the name of this blog.
